Rick Tang goes no where without his camera and it is reflected in the diversity of his work. He has been photographing events, portraits, vineyards, weddings, products, and creating fine art since 1974.

Tang is a professional and passionate photographer. It shows in the volume of work he has accumulated because he carries his camera everywhere he goes. He got his start as a photographer with the Novato Advance weekly newspaper. For twenty years he had the Rick Tang Photography studio in Novato. Being "in the field" and using natural light are his favorites, whether for portraits, landscapes or events. Currently he can be reached in Sonoma Co. Rick Tang photographs: Events; Portraits- on-location individual, family, business; aerial photos of homes, business locations, scenics; artistic images. He is a member of: Professional Photographers of the Redwood Empire (PPRE), Rotary Club member since 1976. And received the prestigious Photograph of the Year 2007 from PPRE, Photographer of the Year 2005 from PPRE, First Place and Third Place at the Windsor Fine Arts Show 2007 and First, Second and Third place in 2009.

He is a photographer in Sonoma County, California which includes Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Windsor, Cloverdale, Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, and goes as far as Napa and San Francisco and Hawaii.
